Past Events
Comedy Night with the Tariya Foundation
Our Comedy Night at Levelthree Premium Venue in Kramerville brought together supporters for an evening of laughter and great entertainment, featuring comedians Mark Banks, Prins VR, and Pravesh Mungaldave, with music from DJ Rene of Chillifunk & Friends.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, we were able to raise and donate R20,000 towards the upgrade of ablution facilities at Natest Primary School in KwaZulu-Natal, one of the first non-white schools built over 60 years ago. This contribution will help improve essential facilities for learners and create a more dignified environment for the school community.
Charity Golf Day at Royal Johannesburg – A Resounding Success

Our recent Golf Day at the Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club (East Course) was an outstanding success and, most importantly, a day filled with great spirit, generosity, and fun. Thanks to the incredible support of our players, sponsors, and partners, we raised just over R220,000, which will go directly towards supporting our identified community projects.
A significant portion of the funds raised has already been used to support the Little Rose Youth Centre in Soweto, where we donated much needed chairs and tables, stationery, and food items, helping to create a more supportive and functional environment for the children and youth they serve.
The day also featured exciting on-course competitions and prizes. Although the R100,000 Hole-in-One prize on Hole 2 went unwon, the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competitions for both men and ladies added to the competitive fun. Prizes were awarded to the top 20 pairs, and our raffle created great excitement with TK taking home a 65-inch Hisense TV, along with wine prizes.
Congratulations to our overall winners, Gregory Govender and Reshma Sewpersad, who walked away with a Scotty Cameron putter and Titleist golf balls.
While this event marks an important milestone, our work doesn’t stop here. To ensure the long-term sustainability of our projects, we need to continue raising funds and growing our support network. If you would like to become a regular donor, please get in touch with us, and we would greatly appreciate you sharing this initiative within your own networks.
Together, we can grow this community and make a lasting impact.
